Primary Teaching Assistant - South Gloucestershire

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking qualified or experienced Primary Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across South Gloucestershire, working with pupils from EYFS through to KS2.

We have a variety of opportunities available including ad-hoc supply, short-term roles, and long-term placements, offering flexibility to suit your availability.

The Role:

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions
Assist the class teacher with classroom activities and learning support
Help create a positive and engaging learning environment
Support pupils with additional learning needs where requiredRequirements:

Ideally Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or
At least 1 year of experience working in a UK primary school
Experience supporting children 1:1 or in small groups
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Right to work in the UKWhat's on Offer
