💷 Rate: £350/day (Up to £400/day for exceptional candidates)

⏰ Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Our client in Wigan is seeking a Senior Estates Surveyor to join their team on a 6-month rolling contract. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead on high-value property disposals, acquisitions, valuations, and asset management—helping shape the borough's future.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the disposal and acquisition of land and property assets.

* Manage the Council's let estate and support strategic asset planning.

* Deliver accurate asset valuations for financial reporting and planning.

* Identify development and rationalisation opportunities across the portfolio.

* Liaise with tenants, stakeholders, internal departments, and consultants to deliver effective estates solutions.

What We're Looking For:

* The ideal candidate will be MRICS qualified (or equivalent - happy to consider candidate who aren't MRICS), with solid public or private sector experience.

* Strong knowledge of property law, valuation, disposals, and estate management.

* Confident communicator and report writer, with experience advising senior stakeholders.

* Able to manage complex portfolios and drive service improvements.
