A Special Educational Needs educational setting in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire is seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant for an immediate start, this September 2025.
The School:This specialist education provision supports learners aged 7-19 with complex cognitive, sensory, and communication needs. It has four distinct departments, including sixth-form classes that focus on life skills and fostering independence. At the heart of the school's priority is well-being and therapeutic support, with integrated occupational and speech and language therapy approaches structured to planning.

You'll be actively engaged throughout - from assisting general class activities to delivering targeted sessions.
Student-focused Responsibilities includes:

Provide assigned support to pupil(s), developing a full understanding of each EHCP tailored to support the learning of individuals.

Monitor and understand triggers, aiding pupils to navigate them to ensure positive academic and emotional development.

Facilitate learning and attention in a classroom with, working alongside departmental leads and experienced support staff.
