Class 2 Delivery Driver - Permanent Position

Our client is currently seeking a reliable and responsible Class 2 Delivery Driver to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced multi-drop driver looking to work in a varied and dynamic role with excellent benefits.

Key Details:

• Start time: 3 AM (advised)

• Hours: Average 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday

• Salary: £38,100 per annum

• Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays

• Additional benefits: Health insurance after 6 months

About the Role:

You will be responsible for performing multiple drops across various locations and days, delivering products safely and efficiently to customers. The role demands a professional attitude, a strong focus on customer service and adherence to all safety and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare routes in advance for efficient delivery

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses via multiple routes

• Conduct thorough checks of loaded items before departure

• Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks to avoid delays

• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently

• Return the vehicle in good condition after use

• Comply with all driving and logistics legislation

• Engage professionally with customers and collect payments where required

• Ensure all deliveries reach customers on time

What Our Client Is Looking For:

• Full UK Driving License with Class 2 entitlement

• Valid and up-to-date CPC qualification

• Proven experience as a skilled multi-drop driver

• Experience working within a similar environment preferred

• Physically fit to lift and carry goods on and off the vehicle

• Flexible and positive attitude with strong customer focus

• Good geographical knowledge of delivery areas
