Job Title: Accounts Payable Administrator
Location: Ammanford
Hours: Full time 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday on site.
Salary: £26,651

As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you'll play a key role in ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. You'll be working in a collaborative environment that values continuous improvement, teamwork, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Accounts Payable processes across multiple legal entities

  • Accurately process purchase invoices and purchase orders, including three-way matching

  • Ensure correct VAT treatment and coding of transactions

  • Process employee expenses in line with HMRC compliance requirements

  • Manage supplier payments through weekly and monthly payment runs

  • Perform supplier statement reconciliations

  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations

  • Investigate and resolve supplier queries and discrepancies

  • Set up and maintain supplier accounts in line with company policies

  • Maintain accurate purchase ledger records and documentation

  • Support month-end processes, including reconciliations, accruals and prepayments

  • Assist with audit queries and financial reporting requirements

  • Help manage aged creditor balances and debit balances


What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Finance or business-related qualification, or relevant practical experience

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft 365

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

  • A proactive, results-driven approach

Desirable:

  • Studying towards or qualified in AAT, CIMA, ACCA or similar

  • Experience with Sage 50 or Sage 200

  • Previous experience working within a finance function

  • Exposure to a manufacturing environment

  • Strong commercial awareness and advanced Excel skills
