Relief Plant Supervisor - Concrete Operations, West Drayton

We are looking for a committed and safety‑driven Relief Plant Supervisor to support our concrete operations at West Drayton. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, efficient production while maintaining the highest standards of site presentation and customer service.
As a Relief Plant Supervisor, you will work closely with the wider team to operate the batching plant and mobile plant equipment to company standards, while maintaining a clean, well‑organised site. You will represent the business professionally at all times, ensuring excellent customer experience and operational reliability.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlant Operations- Operate the batching plant and Front-End Loader (FEL) safely and efficiently in line with company policy.
- Accurately batch concrete and mortar following all relevant procedures (once trained).
- Ensure the plant is consistently stocked with approved materials to avoid disruption.
Maintenance & Housekeeping- Carry out regular inspections and ensure all routine maintenance is completed in line with site requirements.
- Maintain a clean and tidy plant, yard and facility, ensuring high standards of site presentation at all times.
- Ensure buildings, equipment and plant mechanisms are cleaned and maintained in accordance with standing instructions.
Customer Service & Site Standards- Support the delivery of excellent customer service, ensuring a positive first impression for visitors and drivers.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and resolve issues promptly.
- Promote a safe, compliant working environment at all times.
What We're Looking For- Experience in concrete operations, ready‑mix, batching, quarrying or a similar environment (desirable).
- Ability to operate mobile plant machinery such as FELs (training may be provided).
- Strong awareness of safety, housekeeping and site standards.
- Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently when required.
- Good communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
