We have an exciting opportunity to join the Enabling Team in Engineering Technical Services (ETS) at Southern Water as a Senior Environmental Advisor. In this role, you will provide expert environmental risk management support across a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring sustainable and responsible design, maintenance, and construction processes. You will play a key role in delivering environmental solutions that protect water resources, enhance ecosystems, and contribute to long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide environmental risk management and technical support throughout project lifecycles.
• Conduct and oversee environmental surveys, assessments, and mitigation strategies.
• Manage environmental sub-contractors and contribute to stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure compliance with environmental laws, planning legislation, and best practices.

Skills & Competencies:

• Degree/Master’s in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field.
• Reasonable level of experience in environmental consultancy or similar.
• Working towards or membership of a professional institute (chartered status desirable).
• Strong written communication, problem-solving, and IT skills.
