Credit Controller - Up to £35,000 - Poole

We're looking for a Credit Controller to join a busy, office-based finance team in Poole on a fixed-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing accounts, and playing a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

In this Credit Controller role, you'll take ownership of customer accounts and ensure effective debt management:

Act as the main point of contact for customer account queries
Manage reconciliations, customer portals, and EDI integrations
Review accounts for creditworthiness and recommend limits and terms
Monitor and collect outstanding debts to maximise cash flow
Resolve invoice and payment queries efficiently
Produce and distribute statements, reminders, and overdue letters
Generate weekly and ad hoc reports on credit status and holds
Proactively manage new accounts and high-value invoices
Support month-end processes including consolidated invoicing

What we're looking for:To succeed as a Credit Controller, you'll bring:

Previous experience in credit control or a similar finance role
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Confidence managing multiple accounts and priorities
A proactive approach to problem-solving
