Pyramid8 are supporting a local and truly independent vehicle remarketing business, that is approaching 15 years in business, starting from online vehicle auctions to multisite auction centres, working in partnership with fleet companies, finance houses and dealerships, to sell circa 1,500 vehicles per auction. They are currently looking to recruit a Relationship Account Manager, to join its team in Castleford.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key accounts. It is your responsibility to ensure all elements of the sale process for your portfolio of clients is completed to a high standard, including agreeing reserve prices, recommending value adding refurbishment, stock management, pre/post sale reporting and sales programme management. You will guide and educate vendors with your market knowledge and ensure expectations around reserves and valuations are realistic. You will work closely with Auctioneers, vendors, and colleagues to ensure a flawless process from start to finish.

To be considered, you will have excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build a rapport with clients, and develop an effective working relationship. You will have a keen eye for detail, have a methodical approach and be able to adapt and think on your feet. This would also include being able to work efficiently on your own and make informed decisions. Whilst not a prerequisite, it would certainly add weight to your application if you came from a car auction background. You will be a competent user of computers, to include Microsoft packages and CRM systems.

In return, you will receive a basic salary to £28,000, along with life assurance, pension, company performance related bonus, in addition to 26 days holiday, plus bank holidays. This role is working Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm. The business has grown from a handful of people to 60+ employees, with a focus on team culture and development
