Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an SEN Teacher for a partner school in Preston, Lancashire which caters specifically for children with additional needs.
The school is smaller than average and caters specifically for children who can no longer remain in mainstream education. The school are looking to appoint a qualified teacher who has experience supporting children with SEN and / or challenging behaviours. The school is smaller than average and class sizes are generally under 10 pupils per class. As part of your role you will be expected to deliver 1:1 and small group intervention sessions; in addition to this you will be expected to deliver a range of subjects across KS3 / 4.
The candidate applying for this role must be a qualified teacher, have some experience supporting children with additional needs and be willing to provide support and guidance to those who find it difficult to engage in education.
The role will be full time and school hours are 8.30am - 3.30pm. The role starts in January and will continue for the rest of the academic year as a minimum. The role would be suited to a hard working, compassionate and enthusiastic teacher with SEN experience!
The pay for this role will be between £95 - 135 per day dependent on experience and candidates must be willing to interview at the school prior to the role starting.
