We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to work for one of our clients on a permanent basis in Peterlee. This has become available due to the expansion, the role will initially start on a day shift however it will move to a continental shift pattern in the very near future which would include a 20% shift allowance.
The ideal candidate would be time served Mechanical and Electrical biased, however the role is more towards the mechanical side.
40 Hours per week, working a 3 shift pattern: Monday - Friday Day shift 6.00am-2.00pm, Back shift 2.00pm - 10.00pm and Nights shift Sunday - Thursday 10.00pm-6.00am.
Duties of the role include:
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
* Working on pumps and controls
* Assisting with the clean down
* Ensuring a high standard of safety, availability and reliability
* Repairing and improving of the plant machinery
* Ensuring the cleanliness and availability of the plant and equipment
* Work on equipment and facility projects
Essential Experience:
* Experience working on heavy plant equipment
* Mechanical or Electrical Engineering HNC Degree or equivalent qualification.
