Maths Teacher - Secondary Schools - Kettering

Salary: MPS/UPS - Competitive and dependent on experience

We are seeking motivated and talented Maths Teachers to join multiple secondary schools in Kettering for the academic year commencing September 2025. These schools offer a supportive and inclusive environment where staff are valued and students are encouraged to reach their full potential. As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons primarily across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting students to develop key mathematical knowledge and skills, as well as exam readiness. There may also be opportunities to teach A-Level Maths or Further Maths for those with the relevant experience.

Main Duties:

Prepare and deliver well-structured maths lessons tailored to meet the needs of students at different levels

Help students build their confidence and competence in mathematical concepts and problem-solving

Monitor progress, provide feedback, and support students to achieve their academic targets

Maintain good classroom discipline and foster a positive learning atmosphere

Work closely with the maths department team to develop resources and share teaching strategies

Liaise with parents and carers when necessary to support student achievement and behaviour

Essential Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification

Strong understanding of the maths curriculum and assessment requirements for secondary education

Ability to manage classrooms effectively and adapt to varied learning needs

Dedication to supporting students of all abilities, including those with additional needs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
