Our Green Investment Group's Development and Construction team are responsible for managing GIG's portfolio of renewables assets during the crucial development and construction phase. This is a new role that will primarily provide corporate governance and company secretarial support to a portfolio of GIG investment and project companies across EMEA, that fall outside Macquarie's consolidated group.

Your key focus will be to help manage the risk for GIG and its nominee Directors serving on numerous development platform / construction boards and enabling efficient processes for all staff involved in the corporate administration of the relevant entities. This will include substantial interaction with other GIG staff (particularly colleagues in GIG's Project and Portfolio Management team and Legal); as well as other Macquarie staff in group wide support functions, such as Legal and Governance and the Financial Management Group.

The support you will provide will include; company secretarial support, both in terms of compliance with external legal and internal Macquarie requirements and advising staff on the practicalities of the same, oversight of compliance requirements and related deadlines across the portfolio of entities, and arranging, attending and minuting board/shareholder meetings across multiple jurisdictions. You will have management and oversight of external providers across multiple EMEA jurisdictions along with draw down processes in relation to entity funding and management of delegation of authority records. You will be responsible for corporate filings and the internal filing of documents. You will help ensure compliance with existing asset management agreements and governance frameworks with entities in the portfolio and will have considerable interaction with the EMEA central Governance and Entity Management team.

You will be driven and self-motivated and will have strong company secretarial/corporate governance knowledge and corporate administration experience gained in a similar, fast-paced environment. You will have an appropriate qualification, ICSA is preferred, but above all will be able to demonstrate a passion for what you do. Your integrity and pragmatic approach to problems will be your strength along with the ability to communicate with people at all levels within our business and across our group wide support teams. You are a team player, can multi-task and have a successful track record in a relevant corporate governance, corporate secretarial or corporate administration related role.

This role is in Macquarie Capital, specifically within the Green Investment Group. Macquarie Capital provides advisory and capital raising services to corporate and government clients involved in public mergers and acquisitions, private treaty acquisitions and divestments, debt and equity fundraising and corporate restructuring. The Green Investment Group was acquired by Macquarie Group in 2017, creating one of Europe's largest teams of dedicated green infrastructure investors. It is a specialist in green infrastructure principal investment, project delivery and portfolio management, and related services. Its track record, expertise and capability make it a global leader in green investment across a broad range of technologies including onshore and offshore wind, solar, waste-to-energy, and energy efficiency/storage.
