FULL TIME PERMANENT ROLE – HYBRID WORKING

I have partnered with an industry leader known for providing alternative, affordable financial solutions, to recruit a results-driven Finance Manager to lead core financial operations, drive performance insights, and ensure compliance across lending activities. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of lending operations and financial regulations. You must be an ACA/ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant with the ability to lead and support executive decision-making with accurate and timely insights at group level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including loan portfolio performance, profit and loss, and balance sheets.
  • Monitor and optimise cash flow, capital requirements, and funding sources to support lending activities.
  • Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements from relevant authorities.
  • Analyse delinquency rates, credit risks, and cost of funds to inform lending policies.
  • Supervise the finance team and ensure strong internal controls and accurate financial record-keeping.
  • Partner with underwriting, collections, and product teams to align financial goals with operational execution.
  • Assist with internal and external audits to ensure timely filing of statutory and regulatory reports.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of financial policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on growth, profitability, and cost management initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Professional qualification in Finance (ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a financial services or lending institution.
  • Strong knowledge of loan accounting, credit risk, and financial compliance.
  • Proficient in financial management tools and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
