Job Description
We are seeking a motivated self-starter for a position as Assistant Billing Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing billing and collections efforts, preparing manual reports. Assists in overseeing training and performance of Department personnel. Reports to the Billing Manager.
Responsibilities:
Review invoices for accuracy, ensure all backup documentation has been prepared
Reduce account delinquency, initiate collections correspondence, review account adjustments, and resolve customer discrepancies and/or short payments.
Reconcile customer disputes
Assist in training new hires
Assist in creation, implementation, and enforcement of Department SOPs and Company policies
Coordinate with Supervisor and Human Resources in tracking attendance
Regular reporting to Department Management
Perform other tasks or duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
Requirements:
2+ years billing experience in a fast-paced 3PL/logistics environment
2+ years supervisory experience
Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures
Strong attention to detail, excellent time-management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (Quickbooks experience a plus)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
