JOB SUMMARY

This is a role within the Shared Services Centre Business Change Teambased out of Cedar House.& Reporting tothe Relationship Manager, this role will form an integral part of the team coveringseveral areas including managing the administration and co-ordination ofvarious business service activities, assisting in the provision of level 2 supportof Oracle to Hewitt and the Hotels and co-ordinating the financial reconciliationsand treasury tasks necessary to ensure successful payroll processing anddisbursement. This role has a strong HR involvement due to its key positioningwithin the general compensation and benefits administration and processes.

CandidateProfile

Experience&

·& & & & & & & Administrativeexperience essential.

·& & & & & & & Previousexperience in financial accounting strongly desirable.

·& & & & & & & Previous experiencein dealing with multiple stakeholders/internal customers essential.

Skillsand Knowledge

·& & & & & & & Strongcommunication skills (verbal and written)

·& & & & & & & Must have goodliteracy skills and be very numerate.

·& & & & & & & Good PCliteracy with strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel essential.

·& & & & & & & Experience ofpayroll entry or similar data entry tasks strongly desirable

·& & & & & & & Highly organisedand efficient approach required together with a strong attention to detail

·& & & & & & & Ability tomanage varying needs and prioritizing to ensure best business results

·& & & & & & & Strong problemsolving skills and ability to investigate/solve complex data conditionsessential

·& & & & & & & Self motivatedand able to work independently without close supervision.

Educationor Certification

·& & & & & & & High Schoolcompletion or equivalent required; administration / business studiesqualifications preferred.

Specific Duties

The followingare specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successfulperformance of the position:

Business Service Administration

Administers centrallyheld compensation and benefits processes, (as directed) ensuring correctaccounting processes, company policy and statutory regulations are met and upheldincluding but not limited to:

·& & & & & & PensionReconciliation & query resolution

·& & & & & & Administration/payrollentry of stock Schemes

·& & & & & & Assist with any processadministration and the collation of data for relevant reports.

·& & & & & & Updates anddistributes relevant information databases as required

·& & & & & & Respond torequests for information from multiple parties in consultation with therelationship manager.

·& & & & & & Coordinates andhandles all related memberships and incentive enrolments and ensures they arecurrent.

·& & & & & & Assists/participatesin the development and implementation of business processes to supportcompensation and benefits policy.

·& & & & & & Participate,in conjunction with the Director of Associate Relations and Reward, in meetingswith suppliers and third parties etc - as required.

Payroll Reconciliation

&

  • Preliminary Reconciliationof MIGL and RCSL files

  • Final Reconciliation ofMIGL and RCSL files to release payroll

  • Checking Suspense in MIGLand RCSL and correcting anything that may be in there

  • Balance Sheet Review &Completion

  • Third Party Payment review& completion

  • Checking Accruals &informing hotels of errors to enable corrections to be made by hotels

    &

Oracle and Relationship Team

  • Becomeproficient Oracle user

  • Participate insystem administration and testing activities

  • Collate and runreports using Oracle Reporting tools

  • Assist asrequired in timesheet and other payments management processes i.e. uploadingfiles, error resolution

  • Assist in the processing of BACS Rejects & overpayment recoveries
  • Participate in the BlueCube labour management maintenance

  • Performsother related tasks as assigned by Management.
