Senior Building Surveyor - Oxford
Established Consultancy | Varied Workload | Strong Local Presence

Not every role needs to shout to stand out - some just offer genuinely good work, with good people, in the right environment.

I'm working with a respected construction consultancy with a strong foothold in Oxford and the surrounding region. They've built their reputation on delivering quality work across a mix of sectors - from heritage buildings and education to commercial and residential projects.

They're now looking for a Senior Building Surveyor to join the team - someone who enjoys a varied workload and wants to be part of a collaborative, well-regarded business that continues to grow.

What you'll be doing:

  • Delivering a mix of project and professional building surveying services
  • Managing schemes from inception through to completion
  • Working across a diverse portfolio including refurbishment and heritage projects
  • Supporting and mentoring more junior surveyors
  • Building long-term client relationships

What they're looking for:

  • An experienced Building Surveyor (MRICS preferred but not essential)
  • Consultancy background
  • Strong technical knowledge across both project and professional work
  • Someone who enjoys being hands-on and part of a close-knit team

Why this role?

  • A genuinely varied workload - no two weeks look the same
  • Strong pipeline of work in the Oxford region
  • Supportive team with a down-to-earth culture
  • Clear progression without unnecessary layers
