We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for day shifts at a busy container transport operation based in London Gateway. This is a great opportunity for drivers seeking regular work with competitive pay.

Duties include:
* Transporting shipping containers
* Coupling and decoupling trailers safely and correctly
* Carrying out pre-use vehicle checks and reporting defects
* Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with transport regulations
* Accurate completion of paperwork and use of on-board systems
* Communicating effectively with the transport office
* Adhering to all driver hours and WTD regulations
Requirements:
* Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Up-to-date CPC and Tacho card
* Experience in container work preferred
* ADR licence advantageous but not essential
* Good knowledge of driver regulations
