Ocho is partnering exclusively with a high-growth, fully remote fintech client to hire a Contract DevOps / Production Engineer. This is a long-term engagement supporting trading infrastructure, client integrations, and platform tooling within a globally distributed team.

This role blends DevOps, production support, and engineering - ideal for someone who enjoys building systems while staying close to live environments and client-facing problem solving.

• Build and enhance internal DevOps tooling (Python-based monitoring & automation)

• Support and maintain trading systems and client integrations

• Work across AWS infrastructure (EC2, IAM, scaling, storage)

• Improve observability using tools like Prometheus and monitoring frameworks

• Troubleshoot production issues across client environments

• Collaborate with US-based DevOps and global engineering teams

• Contribute to automation of support and operational processes

• Strong Python skills (essential)

• Solid AWS experience (IAM, EC2, scaling, infrastructure concepts)

• Experience in DevOps / Platform / Production Engineering environments

• Exposure to Capital Markets or trading systems (desirable, not essential)

• Comfortable working in Linux environments

• Experience supporting live systems / debugging issues

• Strong communicator, able to work with clients and internal teams

• Pragmatic engineer who can operate across Dev + Ops + Support

• Fully remote (UK / Europe preferred, but flexible)

• Long-term contract with strong stability

• Outside IR35 engagement

• High-impact role within a scaling fintech business

• Exposure to real-time trading systems and global clients

£450-£550 per day (depending on experience)
