JOB TITLE: Area Sales Manager - North West

EMPLOYMENT BASIS: Permanent
LOCATION: North West
HOURS OF WORK: 39.5 per week
REPORTS TO: TBD
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to drive sales of our domestic product range through wholesalers, distributors, and building/plumbing merchant channels. You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, increasing brand presence, and achieving regional sales targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage and grow sales within the assigned territory by developing relationships with key stakeholders in wholesale and distribution networks.
* Promote the full range of Stuart Turner domestic products, providing product knowledge, training, and support to trade partners.
* Identify new business opportunities and work closely with the internal sales and marketing teams to execute regional growth strategies.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform future sales and marketing initiatives.
* Regularly report on sales performance, forecasts, and account developments.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
* Proven experience in a field sales role, ideally within the building, plumbing, or HVAC sector.
* Strong understanding of trade distribution channels, particularly wholesalers and merchants.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage a territory effectively.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the region
