• PAY RATE: £500 -£550 day rate

 JOB SUMMARYAs Principal Service Lead, you will play a pivotal role in building a strong, relationship-based, locality-driven model of support for children, young people, and families. You will strengthen and embed our Family Safeguarding model, improve outcomes through joined-up pathways, and provide confident senior oversight of practice, both in hours and as part of the out-of-hours leadership rota.JOB DESCRIPTIONThe duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Leading the integration of Family Help, Family Safeguarding, and Adolescent Safeguarding services
• Transitioning to a locality-based model with accessible, place-based support
• Championing high-quality, strengths-based, and trauma-informed practice
• Driving performance, quality assurance, and inspection readiness
• Building strong partnerships with Early Help, Police, Health, Education, and community services

  THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATEThe successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Significant leadership experience in children’s social care
• Strong expertise in safeguarding and risk management
• A passion for early intervention and relational practice
• Commitment to innovation, transformation, and workforce stability
• Confidence to make complex decisions, including out-of-hours leadership
