Quantity Surveyor

Location: Greater Manchester (Hybrid working available)

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum

Specialist Fit-Out & Refurbishment Contractor

We're working in partnership with a well-established, design-led fit-out contractor based in Greater Manchester to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to support continued growth across a varied portfolio of projects. With a turnover of approximately £20 million, this contractor delivers bespoke fit-out and refurbishment schemes across sectors including leisure, healthcare, hospitality, and high-street retail.

With a hands-on senior leadership team and a strong pipeline of repeat business, the company takes pride in high-quality finishes, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to project delivery.

This is a great opportunity to join a stable, growing team where you'll work on schemes typically ranging from £500k to £3 million, with the occasional larger project up to £5 million.

Key Responsibilities:

* Commercial management of live projects from procurement through to final account

* Preparation of cost plans, CVRs, valuations, and financial reports

* Subcontractor procurement and management, including negotiation and payment approvals

* Contract administration (JCT and bespoke terms)

* Value engineering and cost-saving input during pre-construction phases

* Regular client liaison and contribution to project meetings

* Supporting the Commercial Manager as part of a close-knit team

What We're Looking for:

* Experience in fit-out, refurbishment, or interior contracting environments is desirable but not essential

* Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously

* Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial processes

* Professional, confident communicator with good attention to detail
