This persons primary responsibility is fabricating solid surface counter tops and components, including cutting,
seaming and sanding material. Must have a minimum of 5 years previous experience, be proficient in the use of
manufacturing equipment, power-hand tools and manual tools, possess the ability to understand shop drawings, be
able to develop prototypes from conceptual sketches and drawings.
- Fabricate all types of solid surface products such as countertops, inlays, showers, thresholds and other types of
custom pieces from start to finish.
-Follow weekly schedule provided to you and report any issues or delays immediately to your direct supervisor.
- The ability to grasp and carry countertops and/or supplies up to 75 pounds.
- Familiarity with a manufacturing environment as well as OSHA standards and attention to detail for processing
- Strong mathematical and analytic skills to read blueprints and layout work assignments.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Candidates must have the following qualifications:
 Minimum 2 years cabinet finishing experience required
 Understanding of conversion varnish post cat finishes required
 Ability to work with air assisted paint equipment required
 Ability to manipulate and create custom stain colors through multi step finish processes.
 Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals as it
relates to finishing
 Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions and short correspondence.
 Ability to apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions.
 Regularly required to: Stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel, reach with hands and arms,
talk, hear, stoop, kneel and/or crouch.
 Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds at a time.
 Must be able to wear a respirator.
 Must be able to work 40 hours/week
 Spray or rag stain onto wood products.
 Manages job colors including mixing finish ingredients to obtain desired colors or shades.
 Smooth's, shapes and touches up surfaces to prepare them for finishing, as well as coordinates with the
sanding department.
 Stacks and moves products and components.
 Cleans and maintains finishing equipment

 Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts
lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
 Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
 Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
 Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
 Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain
additional resources.
 Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following
manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
 Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
 Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies;
placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
 Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
 Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
 Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Description:
1) Sets up and operates metal fabricating machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears, saws, and presses, to cut, bend,
straighten, and form metal plates, sheets, and structural shapes according to blueprints and specifications: Reads and
interprets blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods,
and sequence of operation.
2) Selects, positions, and secures dies, blades, cutters, and fixtures onto machine, using rule, square, shims,
templates, handtools, and built-in gauges.
3) Positions and clamps stops, guides, and turntables.
4) Adjusts controls to set and regulate machining factors, such as pressure and depth of ram stroke, adjustment rolls,
blade angle, and machine speed.
5) Locates and marks bending or cutting lines and reference points on workpiece, using instruments, such as rule
and compass, or by tracing from templates.
6) Positions workpiece against stops and guides or aligns layout marks with dies or cutting blades manually or using
7) Starts machine and observes machine operation to reposition workpiece, change dies, or adjust machine settings
for multiple or successive passes.
8) Inspects or measures work, using rule, gauges, and templates.
9) May operate machines to fabricate nonmetallic materials, such as composites or plastics.
10) May set up and operate sheet-metal fabricating machines only and be designated Sheet-Metal-Fabricating-
Machine Operator.

 Assisting in project set up and executing work plans
 Must have a keen eye for detail and the ability to adjust as needed to meet requirements
 Able to utilize layout plans and verify the accuracy of drawing and measurements
 Effectively communicate any issues that impact the project
 Perform carpentry and woodworking duties with care and detail
 Operate safely in the work environment
 Minimum of 2 years carpentry and wood work experience.
 Minimum of 2 years in reading blue prints or layout instructions
 Ability to multi-task, strong verbal and written communication skills
 General math and problem solving skills
 Work well under pressure in order to meet project deadlines
 Metal Fabrication a plus
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, however, other duties may apply.) •
Prepare parts for coating • Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application • Operate all coating
equipment including guns, hoppers and booth collection systems • Observe machine gauges and equipment
operation to detect defects • Determine paint flow, viscosity and coating quality by performing visual inspections or
by using viscometers • Bake parts at appropriate temperatures within time limitations • Knowledge of thermosetting
resin coatings, wash and pretreatments • Ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently, and are
consistent with company established goals for quality and customer order on-time performance • Ensure quality
standards and processes are used throughout facility • Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work
environment • Load and unload parts or product onto fixtures • Good knowledge of the mechanics and repair of
painting equipment • Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment

Assist in reviewing pick sheets based on customer orders and then pulling the right products for each order
Work closely with the inventory group to monitor supply levels and submit purchasing recommendations on a
regular basis
Load and unload delivery trucks and make sure that each incoming delivery matches the company purchase
Collaborate with the inventory control and purchasing groups to determine when product is missing in a delivery
