project Manager - Commercial Build & Fit-Out Project
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Contract Length: 10 Months

We are currently looking for a skilled and driven Project Manager to take charge of a commercial build and internal fit-out scheme in Bury St edmunds. This is a long-term role lasting approximately 10 months, suited for a professional with solid experience in both structural construction and high-spec interior delivery.

Role Overview:

* Lead site activities from groundwork to project handover

* Manage and coordinate subcontractors across both core build and fit-out stages

* Deliver the project in line with programme, budget, and quality expectations

* Uphold all site Health & Safety procedures and ensure compliance across all operations

* Conduct site meetings, daily briefings, and toolbox talks

* Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth progress

* Maintain accurate site records and assist with achieving a defect-free completion

Candidate Profile:

* Demonstrable experience in commercial construction and interior fit-out management

* Must hold SMSTS, CSCS (Black or White Card), and First Aid certification

* Strong leadership and organisational skills with excellent communication abilities

* Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure and to deadlines without compromising on safety or quality

* Ideally located within easy reach of Stowmarket
