We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team and we are needing the candidate to start as soon as possible

We are a family owned service station located at Rainham in Kent.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be proficient in the use of both power and hand tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Duties

* Perform repairs and maintenance for both cars and vans on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical components.

* Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively which includes Injectors, DPF EGR & AD Blue and being able to accurately fix the problems effectively

* MOT Class 4 Licence preferred but not essential.

* Tyre Repair & Replacements

* Air Conditioning & Regas

* Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.

* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.

* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.

* Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies related to mechanical systems.

Skills

* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.

* Proficient in the use of power tools

* Skilled in using hand tools

* Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

* Strong communication skills to effectively work within a team environment.

* Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Work hours are Monday to Friday 8am until 6pm and every other Saturday from 8am to 4pm
