Reception & KS1 Teaching Assistant – Wembley

A warm and inclusive Primary School in Wembley is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Reception and Key Stage 1 on a full-time, term-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with EYFS qualifications or relevant experience, who is passionate about early learning and pupil development.

Location: Wembley – Excellent transport links

Working pattern: Full-time, term-time only

Contract: Ongoing contract basis – paid in line with AWR from day one

Pay: £85–£100 per day

Start: ASAP – Supply options available, but ideally seeking a long-term commitment to one school

• Supporting pupils across Reception and KS1 with a focus on engagement, progress and wellbeing
• Working closely with children with SEND needs, including ASC, ADHD, emotional and behavioural needs, as well as pupils with EAL
• Supporting the class teacher in creating a safe and stimulating learning environment
• Delivering tailored interventions and providing one-to-one or small group support where needed

• EYFS qualification or demonstrable experience in an Early Years setting is essential
• SEND experience (personal or professional) is highly desirable
• Confident, caring and resilient with a nurturing approach
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
