We are currently seeking a School Business Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for the management and operation of our school, covering a wide range of disciplines including finance, HR, logistics, and data management. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of finance, experience in a managerial role, and the resilience to handle a challenging yet rewarding environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the school's financial systems, including budget management and accounts, utilising SAGE financial system.
- Manage a diverse office team responsible for premises, HR, finance, and IT, ensuring efficient operation across all sectors.
- Lead and develop a team of 7 staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Coordinate logistics and data management to support the school's operations effectively.
- Handle HR responsibilities including management of staff and sickness absence.
- Engage in strategic planning and implementation to enhance educational and administrative processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong background in finance and management, with the ability to oversee multiple disciplines.
- Previous experience in a school environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Proficiency in using SAGE financial system or willingness to learn quickly.
- Excellent mathematical and English language skills.
- Proven track record of managing and leading teams.
- Ability to handle a challenging role with resilience and adaptability.
