Merton College is seeking to expand our Part-Time Sessional Teacher Panel and are looking for skilled and experienced Art professionals to deliver high-quality learning opportunities for adult learners.
You will teach adult learners across a range of levels on non-accredited courses, supporting participants to develop their skills, creativity and confidence in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
As our Lecturer, you will have successful teaching experience and/or a teaching qualification or substantial relevant professional experience. With sound knowledge of the subject, you will be able to plan lessons and use a range of techniques appropriate to learners from diverse educational backgrounds, including adult learners.
Able to communicate effectively at all levels, you will be able to identify and implement improvements in existing systems and deliver virtual sessions if required.
The successful candidate will be eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review that will be implemented in the new academic year.
