Brownlee Cale are working with a Tier One Civil Engineering firm to hire an Engineering Design Manager to support the design delivery of non-infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

* Identify, manage, challenge design scope and programme

* Ensure the design solution aligns with affordability challenges and other allocated requirements

* Coordination and management of design reviews, technical assurance reviews and CDM reviews

* Support the nominated principle designer

* Be knowledgeable of current legislation pertaining to regulations and health and safety

* Liaise with other members of the Project Team across disciplines

Requirements and Qualifications:

* HNC/HND or degree within an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil)

* Chartered or in the process of attaining chartered status

* Experience and knowledge of CDM (2015) Regulations

* Experience working within a multi-disciplinary design/construction project team
