Interim Year End Accountant required for a SME business based in Small Heath.
Your new company
Hays are working with a rapidly growing SME business with a T/O of in excess of £100 million who have experienced great growth over the last 18 months. They are based just outside Birmingham city centre and candidates will be office based 5 days per week with appropriate social distancing measures in place.
Your new role
We are looking for an experienced Interim Accountant who can join in the next 10 days and will be available to work until March 2021. The company will complete their audit by the end of October and this role is to help with the year end close and subsequent follow up. You will be a main point of contact with the auditors to finalise the statutory accounts and to deal with any queries or questions which may arise.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Accountant who is either fully Qualified or Qualified by Experience with a strong Financial Accounting bias. Previous experienced dealing with year end close and external auditors is required plus you will need a knowledge of using ERP systems. This is a stand alone role reporting into the Finance Director so the ability to manage your own workload is essential.
What you'll get in return
This is a great organisation with lovely offices and parking with a contract until March 2021. This role can either be taken on a daily rate of between £250 to £350 dependant one experience or equally on a fixed term contract basis.
