The Brand Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of the national marketing acquisition plan, including Press, Inserts and TV. The successful candidate will also support the delivery of the organisations brand requirements, and actively develop the brochure programme, working with internal and external teams.

Description

The Brand Manager will work closely with the Head of Marketing to implement the strategic framework for the brand, assisting in the definition of the marketing and promotional annual calendar.

The Brand Manager will have responsibility for the creative development process for offline media channels, from creative brief to final artwork approval, working with the brand team, media agency and acquisition artworker. The successful candidate will undergo regular analysis of offline media performance & optimisation to increase ROI across all channels, including press, TV, inserts and local, and regularly input into the test and learn process in order to continuously improve the strength of the brand.

The Brand Manager will take responsibility for the management of the media agency and delivery of an optimised media plan, to maximise ROI, and ensuring the most effective agency relationship. The successful candidate will also develop a compelling earned media and content development programme through a partner PR agency, again ensuring a proactive and productive relationship.

This role is part time, 4 days a week near Bath (with some flexibility to work from home), for a Fixed Term Contract. Start date, September 2020.

Profile

The Brand Manager will:

  • Have proven FMCG Brand Management experience
  • Have a proven track record in Acquisition
  • Have multichannel media planning experience
  • Have an agency management track record
  • Have a track record in campaign management and evaluation
  • Be analytical
