We are seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher to join an amazing team at this Outstanding Grammar School starting in September. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about science education and is eager to inspire and educate young minds in the field of physics.
Day-to-day of the role: - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging physics lessons that comply with the curriculum and cater to a range of abilities.
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages student curiosity and active participation in Physics
- Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote learning and improvement.
- Develop and use a variety of teaching techniques and materials that reflect recent advances in the field of physics.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary approaches into teaching and learning activities.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and school training events.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in physics or a closely related discipline.
- Experience teaching physics at secondary school level.
- Strong understanding of the latest curriculum and teaching methods for physics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
