Salary: £55000 - £60000/annum enrolment in company shares

Eleven are delighted to be partnering with a ground-breaking clean energy start-up, who are in the process of scaling-up a novel, solvent-based carbon capture technology process.

With their technology able to be deployed on all manner of Co2 emitting process industries and with significant investment from some of the biggest names in industry, they are primed to play a key role in decarbonisation solutions, as we strive for net-zero emissions.

Due to a continued period of growth & expansion of the organisational structure, they are looking to identify a Senior Controls & Instrument Engineer (C&I) to join their expanding team! You will develop and enforce best practice, managing and growing the Controls and Instrumentation function to meet the company needs.

You will

Collaborate with a team of controls engineers, process engineers and chemists to create and enhance product control designs
Seek cutting-edge technologies for up-to-date control solutions and aim to deliver innovative advancements in a complex technical environment
Focus on providing energy-efficient control solutions
Manage the development and procurement of control systems, including human-machine interface (HMI_ development, control system sizing, instrument specification, and cable routing
You will responsible for supplier management through various stages and demonstrate expertise in commissioning plants, including designing, programming and tuning control loops on programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
Proficiency in data acquisition for testing and research and development (R&D) functions is also desirable 
 
About you:

Ideally you will be a Chartered C&I Engineer with several years practical experience in a process plant or pilot plant environment.
Have at least 3 years' experience as Team Lead or Manager
Experience of programming in IEC 61131 languages
A flair for innovative design solutions
An open and flexible approach to workKey skills:
Computer literate, with structured understanding of software design
A good understanding of industrial communication protocols Modbus etc
Commissioning experience 
Ability to read electrical drawings, trouble shoot problems and rectify
