Housing Support Officer - Mobile Position (North London)

Location: LB Brent and various sites across North London

Rate:£12.71 /hour PAYE |£16.88 hour Umbrella

Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract: Temp to Perm

Must be a driver

Are you an experienced Housing Support Officer with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle complex tenant needs? We are currently recruiting for a full-time mobile Housing Support Officer to support vulnerable tenants across housing sites in North London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored, person-centred support to residents living in temporary or supported accommodation

• Carry out regular property visits, welfare checks, and tenancy sustainment interventions

• Help residents access services for employment, benefits, mental health, and social support

• De-escalate challenging situations and manage behavioural concerns with professionalism and empathy

• Accurately record casework and support plans

• Liaise with other teams including maintenance, mental health, and safeguarding professionals

Requirements:

• Previous experience in would be beneficial housing support, supported housing, or homelessness services

• A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Comfortable working independently in a mobile role

• Resilient, confident, and emotionally intelligent
