Teaching Assistant - January Start (SEND & Nursery)

Hours: Full time across SEND provision and Nursery

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Teaching Assistant to support SEND and Nursery at this popular infant school. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children with SEND needs within our dedicated provision.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work across two key areas of our school:

• SEND Unit (The Nest): Supporting a small group of children or working 1:1 for three mornings per week.

• Nursery Unit: Supporting our SEND children during the remainder of the week.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a minimum Level 2 childcare qualification (Level 3 preferred), meeting government requirements for Nursery ratios.

• Has a Paediatric First Aid Certificate (if qualified after 2016). If you do not have this, we are able to arrange the training.

• Is passionate about working with children with additional needs and creating an inclusive, nurturing environment.

• Is reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
