We have an opportunity available for a Deputy Manager to join us based across four residential support units in South West London: Tooting Tooting Bec, Balham and Battersea.  You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, we are offering a competitive annual salary of £26,529.72 per annum.

Key responsibilities of our Deputy Manager:

• Alongside Service Managers, help to develop a professional, person-centred working environment across four mental health recovery units

• Assessing referrals for the service

• Collating data and undertake accurate report writing for internal and external purposes

• Ensure that service-users are encouraged and supported to participate in activities both internally and in the local community

• Promote the best interests of service users to enable informed choice in order to support recovery, including developing opportunities to access social, leisure and educational opportunities to further promote positive outcomes

• Oversee the maintenance/development of service user relationships through establishing and building supportive links with parents/relatives/or significant others

• Be a key point of contact to liaise with all professionals (Social Workers/ CPNs/Drs/Consultants etc.) to ensure that service users are receiving appropriate support

Skills and experience required to become our Deputy Manager:

• NVQ/QCF/RCF Level 3 (or Equivalent)

• An excellent working knowledge of issues relating to Mental Health; law & application including DOLS & community treatment orders

• Broad, evidence-based experience of working within relevant regulations & standards

• Experience of people management, including inducting new colleagues' supervisions, performance management/coaching conversations

• Working knowledge of quality and safety regulation within voluntary sector mental health services and how service delivery can meet and exceed requirements

•Working knowledge of how Mental Health services can contribute to an individual's recovery
