What You'll Be Doing:As a Multi Skilled Joiner, you will play a key role in transforming spaces and making homes shine. Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Carrying out a variety of joinery tasks, including installations, repairs, and maintenance across a wide range of properties
  • Collaborating with our dedicated team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards
  • Ensuring that all work meets safety and quality regulations
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our residents
  • Assisting with other trades as required, bringing your versatility to the team!
  • To overhaul/repair and maintain wooden, composite and UPVC doors, door frames, windows, window frames etc.
  • To repair / renew internal door
  • To reglaze properties as and when required
  • To secure properties by boarding up as and when required including replacing door locks when necessary
  • To replace timber floors, skirting boards and architraves
  • To repair and/or renew garden fences and gates
  • To comply with any Risk Assessment, Method Statement or Safe System of Work
  • To work with the I.T.Systems in place via PDA - Tablet mobile working
  • To undertake relevant training and development activities as required by the post. This includes non licensed asbestos removal training.

What We're Looking For:We want someone who isn't just skilled but also enthusiastic about their work. To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience as a joiner or in a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork
  • Previous experience of working at heights using ladders, scaffolding and in confined spaces and in a variety of work conditions.

Qualifications

Apprenticeship through NVQ / City & Guilds; or equivalent experience as a time served Joiner

Special Role Requirements

A requirement to work some unsociable hours if required to provide late appointments or Saturday mornings
