White Label is representing an engineering business in Bradford that require an experienced Project Design Engineer to join their team.

As the Project Design Engineer, you'll have 10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering industries, Solidworks experience and ideally experience in heavy industry.

My client is offering a salary in the region of £40,000 - £50,000 + flexible working, 5% pension and benefits. The working hours are 37.5/week with flexible start/finish times around core hours.

Responsibilities of the Project Design Engineer

* New product design from concept through to delivery

* Technical interface with client

* Prepares and maintains the design brief, design development programme and other engineering documents required by the project

* Involved in all aspects of design and detailing

* Control of documents to ensure that their status is defined and they are uniquely numbered, identifiable and retrievable

* Conduct design reviews as required by the design development programme and ensures that agreed actions are recorded and implemented

* Checking, approval, and issue of drawings

* Integration of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic design

* Integration of multiple pieces of equipment into a coherent system

* Checking and approval of bills of materials to ensure all required components can be identified

* Prepare technical specifications for services and bought out items

* Technical liaison with subcontractors and suppliers

* Advises the Project co-ordinator of variations in scope of supply

* Assist within the sales team on technical aspects

* Internal progress reporting to the Project Manager on engineering tasks
