Alexander Steele Recruitment are currently on the lookout for an Electrically bias Multi-Skilled Engineer in Renfrewshire for an expanding and established food manufacturing business. This vacancy has become available due to new production lines being added so it is a very exciting time to join the business.

Roles + Responsibilities

· Breakdown Maintenance + Fault Finding.

· Machine and Process Improvement.

· Installation of new machinery.

· Diagnose faults and rectify them efficiently.

· Ensure planned Maintenance work is completed to the strict schedule.

· Ensure good working practises are adhered to including Health and Safety, Food Safety + Hygiene.

· Minimal unscheduled downtime through immediate response and rectification of problems, prioritising key areas.

· Continuous improvement of equipment, improving safety, efficiency, changeovers, and minimising downtime.

· Planned Preventative Maintenance.

On Offer

· £40,000-£45,000 - negotiation for an exceptional candidate.

· 1.5x overtime, double time on a Sunday, Back shift rate @1.125x.

· Shift pattern rotating week to week, day shift to back shift.

· Day shift = Mon - Fri 6am-2:30pm, Back shift = 2-10pm Mon-Thurs, 2-9:30 Fri.
