This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading regional Civil Engineering company, with a long history of delivering projects across the South West and South Wales. The successful post-holder will provide support to the project team, ensuring the delivery of works adheres to our clients environmental obligations. The scope of work is varied and will require a positive outlook and can-do attitude.

As Environmental Manager you will:

• Make sure that all personnel have an understanding of the environmental responsibilities and work in compliance with the obligations.

• Put into practise the requirements of the Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Management System.

• Be part of the delivery of BREEAM/CEEQUAL or similar sustainability certifications

• Develop project specific Environmental Management Plans (EMPs)

• Record and report any environmental incidents.

• Perform regular environmental inspections, recording observations and logging onto an environmental inspection record.

Our client requires an Environmental Manager with:

* HND/Degree in relevant Environmental discipline

* History of working in Civil Engineering (preferably Water), with a tier 1 contractor.

* Experience of carrying out environmental audits ISO14001 and assessments, identifying and resolving environmental problems and ensuring necessary changes are implemented.

* A willingness to travel to sites across the South West and South Wales

Salary/Benefits:

* Salary up to £60,000

* Car allowance

* Paid annual leave, company pension etc
