Circa £15.50 - £18 per hour + shift allowance
OTE - Upwards of £52,000 p.a once fully trained

EMBS Engineering Ltd is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering manufacturer, located in North Nottingham, that is currently in the market for multi-skilled CNC Machinists to join their existing, talented team on a Permanent basis.

This leading company has a strong reputation and long-standing presence in the precision engineering sector, specialising in the production of high-quality, complex components for the Aerospace, Energy/Oil & Gas, and Industrial markets.

Key Benefits on offer:

* Stability / Longevity: Permanent

* Competitive salary: £30 - 45k per annum, inc shift allowance + overtime

* Hours: Double Days (Mornings & Afternoons) or 3 shift pattern rotating (Mornings, Afternoons, and Nights)

* Benefits:

* Shift allowance - between 15% and 20%

* Opportunity when fully trained to earn between 47 - 52k per annum (£23 - £26 per hour including shift allowances)

* Overtime is available at premium rates

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

* Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, this includes:

* CNC Turning/Milling or both

* CNC Mill Turn experience

* Confident with either Mazatrol, Siemens, or Fanuc control systems

* Experience setting, operating, and editing multi-axis CNC machines

* Previously machined complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas, Medical, etc

* Experience working with small to medium batch sizes and medium to large-sized components

* Experience with machining to tight tolerances

* Confident using manual measuring equipment

Your responsibilities include:

* Setting and operating CNC Turning/ Milling or Mill Turn machines, depending on experience using Fanuc, Mazatrol, or Siemens controls

* Machining medium to large-sized, complex components in smaller batch sizes

* Performing multiple setups per day to produce components for various precision engineering sectors

* Self-inspecting components using manual measuring equipment to ensure you have achieved customer/industry standards

* Intermitent machine maintenance
