Lead EC&I Engineer - Nuclear Sector
An internationally recognised engineering and services provider is seeking a highly experienced Lead EC&I Engineer to deliver technically complex solutions across major projects in the nuclear industry. This strategic role is integral to the advancement of safety-critical infrastructure and clean energy transition initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the EC&I design, specification, and implementation across multidisciplinary nuclear-related projects
Provide expert guidance on electrical systems, instrumentation, and control strategies throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure compliance with UK nuclear regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices
Oversee development of technical documentation, design reviews, and interface coordination
Engage with project stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and supply chain partners to align project objectives
Mentor and support the professional development of junior engineers and techniciansRequirements

Degree-qualified in Electrical, Electronic or Control Engineering (or related discipline)
Chartered Engineer status, or working towards a chartership via a recognised institution
Strong track record within the nuclear sector or similar safety-critical environments (e.g. defence, energy, infrastructure)
Proven ability to lead EC&I engineering teams and deliver high-integrity systems in regulated environments
Extensive knowledge of control philosophies, IEC standards, SIL assessments, and electrical design codes
Skilled in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional coordinationWhat's Offered
