Reed Accountancy & Finance are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to join our Dover-based client on a temporary basis. This role is crucial in assisting with system changes and implementations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchase ledger processing and will be instrumental in supporting the finance team during a period of transition.

Senior Accounts Assistant Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist with the implementation of new financial systems and processes.
• Manage purchase ledger activities, ensuring accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks related to system changes.
• Provide input into the improvement of financial procedures and controls.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth transition during system upgrades.

Senior Accounts Assistant Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in an Accounts Assistant role or similar.
• Strong knowledge of purchase ledger processes.
• Experience with financial system implementations is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
