Role: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Stoke on Trent

Hours: 16:00 to 02:00 - 4 on 4 off

Pay: £15.93 per hour

About the role:

We are looking for Warehouse Sortation Supervisor's to help drive operational excellence in parcel sortation operations. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, optimizing mechanical sortation processes, and leading a talented team towards achieving outstanding results.

What you'll be doing:

* Operational Excellence, overseeing and optimizing the daily warehouse operations

* Develop and implement strategies that drive high performance, reduce operational cost, while maximizing efficiency

* Working with the Operations Manager to ensure accurate efficient sortation of parcels, driving smooth operational flow at all times

* Lead, train, and inspire a high-performing warehouse team through mentoring and guidance, creating a positive working environment

* Ensuring Consistency: Enforce adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational consistency, efficiency, and quality at all times.

* Maintaining the highest levels of health and safety, ensuring compliance with all regulations and engendering a safe working environment

* Managing the OLA Shift: Take full control of managing all aspects of the OLA shift, ensuring optimal productivity and performance.

* Managing Driver Briefings: Oversee and control all aspects of driver pre- and de-briefings, ensuring clear communication and seamless operations.

* Actively participate in weekend conference calls to stay aligned with key operational developments and share insights on performance and strategic priorities.

What we need from you:

* Verified experience in a supervisory role, ideally within a parcel sortation or logistics environment, and a solid understanding of automated sortation systems.

* Operational Expertise with a clear understanding of warehouse flow management and optimizing processes to drive operational efficiency
