We're working in partnership with a leading food manufacturer in Hertfordshire to find an experienced High Risk Production Manager to take ownership of one of the most critical areas of their operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven production leader with ready-to-eat (RTE) experience to step into a senior role with genuine influence.

The Role:

As the High Risk Production Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of high-risk production areas, ensuring operational excellence, food safety, and quality standards are met consistently. You will lead a team of supervisors and operatives, driving performance, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and delivering against KPIs in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of high-risk production, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.

Lead, motivate, and develop a team to achieve operational targets.

Ensure ready-to-eat products are produced to the highest quality standards.

Work closely with technical, planning, and engineering teams to maintain smooth operations.

Drive efficiencies, reduce waste, and optimise processes within the high-risk environment.

About You:

Proven experience as a High Risk Production Manager or similar leadership role in food manufacturing.

Strong background in ready-to-eat product manufacturing.

*

Excellent understanding of BRC, HACCP, and food safety compliance.

*

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.

Results-driven, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Package:

Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experience
