Vision for Education are recruiting for a Creative Arts and Technology teacher for a permanent vacancy from September 2024. The role will be paid to scale and subject to shortlisting and interview directly with our client school.

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and highly effective teacher of Design & Technology with fantastic opportunities to develop their teaching and learning and leadership skills. Be able to teach Key Stage 3 Design Technology, Food & Art
Be able to teach Key Stage 4 Design Technology, Food & Art
Be able to use ICT in all aspects of your work.
Have excellent communication skills and an ability to relate to people at all levels.
Be a positive team player with a strong commitment to professional development.
Embrace new technologies and ideas that enhance learning.

About the school

This SEND Teacher role is an opportunity to work in an incredibly welcoming school with some wonderful young people in Burnley (BB11).

The setting is a small school that welcomes young people who face social, emotional and mental health challenges. All pupils have an EHCP for SEMH or ASD.

The school offers a stable, secure and supportive environment, in which the children and young people they care for can develop the skills and confidence necessary to help them fulfil their potential.

Salary

£30,000 to £46,525 per year

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
Role will be paid to scale (MPS/UPS & SEN Point 1).
