Territory Sales Representative

 

Overview of Position

  • Selling Granite Gold® products to existing and prospective customers within the stone industry class of trade (fabricators, manufacturers, installers, kitchen and bath retailers)
  • Attend industry events to build leads and prospects
  • Work with Granite Gold® teams to grow sales and profits
  • Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales
  • Work remotely. We will select the ideal candidate from any location within the contiguous U.S. states

Job Description

We're looking for a results-driven territory sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will increase sales by selling additional services to existing customers and to prospective customers. You will work to gain preferred use all Granite Gold® products. You will be challenged to grow top-line revenue and increase profitability.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Present, promote and sell Granite Gold® products to existing and prospective customers within the stone industry class of trade (fabricators, manufacturers, installers, kitchen and bath retailers)
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis with existing and potential customers
  • Attend industry events and key customer trade shows
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes
  • Analyze potential gains, set targets, track sales and report accomplishments
  • Supply reports on customer needs, problems and competitive activities
  • Continuously improve through feedback
  • Approximately 50% travel required
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a territory sales representative in the professional services industry
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite, CRM tools and solid analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build productive business relationships
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the customers' needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • BS/BA degree

 

Compensation range $40,000-$45,000 annual salary, plus commission and benefits.
