Design Manager - Main Contractor

💰 Salary: Upto £90,000

A growing main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Design Manager to take ownership of the design coordination across their projects.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved from pre-construction through to delivery, working closely with clients, consultants and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing design development from tender through to construction

*

Coordinating design information between architects, consultants, and the project team

*

Attending meetings with clients and consultants

*

Ensuring compliance with building regulations and technical standards

*

Identifying design risks and resolving design issues

Requirements:

*

Experience as a Design Manager or Design Coordinator in main contracting

*

Technical understanding of building methods, planning, and design standards

*

Excellent communication and coordination skills

*

Strong knowledge of BIM processes and software (AutoCAD, Revit etc.)

This role offers a mix of office and site-based working and involvement in high-quality projects
