Senior Site Chemist in Brownhills (West Midlands)

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the business by handling Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste assignments, ensuring compliance with regulations and site procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

- Verifying incoming waste consignments and ensuring accurate paperwork.
- Conducting safety checks and sampling waste for lab analysis.
- Inspecting and accepting waste following relevant guidelines.
- Managing waste paperwork and ensuring proper labeling, storage, and processing.
- Supporting colleagues, maintaining a safe work environment, and promoting environmental practices.
- Handling spills, adhering to COSHH regulations, and enforcing health and safety protocols.

To excel in this role, you should possess:
- HNC or Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Experience in the Waste Industry and SAP proficiency are advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership skills and effective communication abilities.
