Job Title: Funeral Service Operative

Location: Bo'ness

Salary: £28,800 per annum / £2,400 per Month

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Working Hours: This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Thomas Cuthell & Sons are the longest established independent Funeral Directors in Forth Valley and are currently recruiting for a Funeral Service Operative based at our Bo'ness Funeral Home.

The post requires commitment to on call rota requiring 24hr availability, on a one in four-week rotation. A retainer is paid in addition to overtime rate for additional hours worked.

Role Responsibilities

Caring for the deceased
Washing of vehicles
Furnishing Coffins
Assisting on funerals
Assisting the memorial erection departmentRole Requirements:

The successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of the position; therefore, experience is not necessary but will be considered an advantage
The position requires commitment to an on-call rota system involving weekend and through the night call outs
Full driving licence is essential
